Dr. Edgardo Hinojosa, MVZ (DVM)
Born in Torreon, Coah., Mexico, Dr. Edgardo Hinojosa has long dreamed of opening his own veterinary practice and is happy to do so here in Green Valley Ranch. Dr. Hinojosa earned his veterinary degree in Mexico and then completed a rigorous process to become licensed as a veterinarian in the United States. Part of that process included completing the final, hands-on year of veterinary school at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in Madison. Dr. Hinojosa has been practicing in the United States for more than 10 years. Dr. Hinojosa loves all animals, especially his dogs Chamo and Dulce. He and his wife, Jennifer, have three young boys. Dr. Hinojosa loves to play soccer, cook, hike, ski and enjoy the outdoors.

Donna Vance, Veterinary Technician
Born and raised in Colorado, Donna graduated from Community College of Denver with a degree in Applied Science as a veterinary technician. Donna earned her degree in 2011, but her love of animals has been life-long. She is pictured here with her 25-year-old horse Kastana Angel and dogs Boo, Ellie Mae, Wren and Echo (left to right). She and her husband also have two cats, Kiki and Sissy, eight ducks and 16 chickens. Donna loves the outdoors and horseback riding. She trained her four german short-haired pointers and enjoys taking them pheasant hunting in the fall and watching their amazing skills. "I learn so much from our clients about the breeds they own and the special talents of each breed. I love our clients!"

Courtney Bucher, CVT
Courtney is a Colorado native who has always had a passion for animals and knew since she was very small that she wanted a career in veterinary medicine. Courtney graduated with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology from Front Range Community College in Fort Collins in May 2014. Shortly thereafter, she became a certified veterinary technician. Courtney has a broad range of experience, having completed internships at the Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital and the Denver Zoo. She currently is finishing her undergraduate degree in Biology and hopes to be accepted into the CSU School of Veterinary Medicine to become a veterinarian. "I love getting to educate people about their pets' health, learning something new every day and having the opportunity to improve the lives and health of animals," Courtney says. Courtney has three dogs: A black Lab named Wilson, a Papillion named Penny (pictured with Courtney here) and a miniature Australian Shepherd named Emma. In her spare time, Courtney loves to travel and go camping with her dogs, family and friends.

Jamie Zalesky, Grooming Team Leader
Jamie is a National Certified Master Groomer who has been grooming pets for more than 11 years. She began her grooming career by doing a 10-month apprenticeship with her aunt, a groomer with more than 30 years of experience, who owned a mobile grooming businesses and also was an instructor at a local grooming school. Jamie is a member of the National Dog Groomers Association of America. Jamie loves dogs in general, "but my favorite part of my career is helping people to make their dogs feel better and look better, as well as helping people with their sometimes thought to be unruly dogs." When she's not grooming, Jamie likes camping and fishing and going to the shooting range with her Dad. She loves walking her dogs, getting together with family - especially her toddler nephew Richard - and sports. Jamie has three dogs named Meshuggah, Machete and Moose.
- Jamie leads and manages Green Valley Ranch Pet Center's Grooming team.
- Jamie is a member of the National Dog Groomers Association of America and is a National Certified Master Groomer.
Laurie Chance, Groomer
Laurie has been grooming pets for 12 years. She received her training at PetSmart Grooming School. Before she became a groomer, Laurie worked with and trained horses and also did horse rescue. She also volunteered with the Humane Society, fostering and adopting out dogs. "I enjoy working with animals and making them look good," Laurie says. When she's not grooming pets, Laurie likes to play basketball, hike and travel. Laurie has four dogs named Monkey, Addy, Rodney and Jacob.
